High Barricades To Be Removed At Pragathi Bhavan Shortly

The newly formed Telangana state government is all set to remove the high-level barricades that have guarded the Pragati Bhavan for years. The concerned teams have already begun the procedures and formalities. 

Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao got the high-rise barricades erected to beef up security. Those barricades were built to disallow the protestors/general public to visit the Pragati Bhavan in the name of rallies and organizing dharnas. 

The Congress government announced that it abides by the principle of 'Prajala Telangana'. Chief Minister-designate, Revanth Reddy, announced that his administration will be removing all barricades in the spirit of the governance principle guiding his government. 

Revanth Reddy has officially declared the renaming of Pragati Bhavan as Dr. BR Ambedkar Samman Bhavan, where a Praja Darbar will be held to address the grievances of the people on a daily basis. Following government directives, the police have initiated the removal of the barricades. The process is expected to be completed within one or two days.
