Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanam Festivities Commence with Great Grandeur

Hyderabad: The popular Yellamma Kalyanotsavam in Balkampet was celebrated on Tuesday. The Kalyanotsavam started at 9.30 am today, the first Tuesday of the month of Ashada 

The Balkampet Yellamma Kalyanotsavam took place with great grandeur at Balkampet in the city on Tuesday.The Kalyanotsavam commenced at 0930 hours. Every year, on the first Tuesday of the month of Ashada.

The celestial wedding festivities will conclude with the Radhostavam on Wednesday. Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, along with his family, attended the wedding ceremony and presented silk clothes to the deity.

Elaborate arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of a three-day religious ceremony. Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory and advised people to follow alternate routes till the conclusion of the festivities.
