October 11 Bank Holiday in India due to this reason!
Tomorrow, October 11, 2025, will be a bank holiday across India as the day marks the Second Saturday of the month. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, all public and private sector banks in the country observe holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays every month, along with Sundays and other national holidays.
This means that banks will remain closed tomorrow, October 11, in all major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Pune. Customers are advised to complete their in-branch transactions today as banking counters will not function over the weekend.
Even though it’s a bank holiday, online banking services such as mobile apps, UPI, ATMs, and internet banking will remain operational. So, customers can still transfer money, pay bills, or check account balances without visiting a bank branch.
After tomorrow’s Second Saturday holiday, the next bank holiday will fall on October 25, 2025, which is the Fourth Saturday. Apart from these, regional holidays will vary from state to state depending on local festivals and observances.
