February 2022 Bank Holidays List
According to the holiday schedule released by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), all the commercial and governmental banks in India will be closed for 12 days in February. Banking services and ATMs will remain operational. The Reserve Bank of India divides holidays into three categories: Negotiable Instruments Act Holiday, Banks' Closing of Accounts and Negotiable Instruments Act Holiday, and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday. The Holiday Negotiable Instruments Act applies to all February holidays.

Due to the Sonam Lhochhar celebration on February 2, all banks in Gangtok will be closed.
Banks in Bhubaneswar, Agartala, and Kolkata will be closed on February 5 due to Shree Panchami/Saraswati Puja/Basant Panchami.
Banks in Kanpur, Lucknow, and Imphal will be closed on February 15 to commemorate the anniversary of Mohammad Hazrat Ali/Louis-Nagai-birth Ni.
On February 16, banks in Chandigarh will be closed in honor of Guru Ravidas Jayanti.
Banks in Kolkata will be closed on February 18 due to Doljatra celebrations.
All banks in Mumbai, Nagpur, and Belapur would be closed on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.
Apart from these holidays, banks will be closed on February 6, 13, 20, and 27 due to Sundays, and February 12 and 26 owing to the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.
