Tamannaah Avoids Talking About Vijay Varma at the Odela 2 Trailer Launch
During the trailer launch event of her upcoming Telugu thriller Odela 2 in Mumbai, actress Tamannaah Bhatia found herself at the center of an unexpected media moment. While answering questions from journalists, one reporter tried to inject some mischief into the interaction by alluding indirectly to her past relationship with actor Vijay Varma.
The question, cleverly disguised with wordplay, hinted at her ex by asking whether there’s anyone she would like to "conquer using spiritual powers." Picking up on the not-so-subtle innuendo, Tamannaah didn’t miss a beat before hitting back with a sarcastic retort, suggesting the question should be turned on the journalist himself. She cheekily added that doing so might give her full control over the paparazzi, delivering her comeback with a confident smile that quickly diffused the moment.
The actress’s response, both clever and cutting, made it clear that she has no interest in discussing her former relationship. Tamannaah and Vijay Varma, once a much-talked-about couple, are believed to have parted ways amicably. On the cinematic front, Tamannaah is all set to portray a strong and spiritual lead in Odela 2, directed by Ashok Teja. Set against a haunting rural backdrop, the film follows the journey of Shiva Shakti, a fierce devotee of Lord Shiva, who arrives in a cursed village plagued by dark forces. Vasishta N. Simha steps into the antagonist's shoes as a man feared for his sinister aura, especially among the village’s women.
The trailer hints at an epic clash between divine energy and malevolent power, with Tamannaah taking center stage in an intense, mystical role. The film is a sequel to Odela Railway Station and is scheduled to hit the big screens on April 17, 2025, in both Telugu and its Hindi-dubbed version.
Apart from Odela 2, Tamannaah also has another major release lined up — Ranger, where she will be seen alongside Bollywood heavyweights Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt.
