Song Joong Ki to Attend Cannes Film Festival with his Wife, Katy Louise Saunders

While in Cannes, France, for the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, Song Joong Ki spoke with Korean reporters and opened up about his wife. The actor admitted that his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, has been a huge assistance to him during the festival. 

The actor discussed the cultural differences during pregnancies after being questioned about Katy's pregnancy and the precautions that were taken. The actor said that while in the West pregnant women are advised to walk around, in Korea pregnant women are encouraged to relax and be still.

According to the sources, Katy Louise Saunders waited with the film's production crew while Song Joong Ki was being interviewed, and despite his busy schedule, the actor would check on Katy like an affectionate husband.

Then Song Joong Ki announced that he and his wife would be attending the red carpet and asked photographers to capture lots of pictures of them.

In his 15-year career, Song Joong Ki is making his Cannes premiere. In the actor's film Hopeless, a man joins a criminal gang in an effort to escape reality.
