Well, Deepika Das is the recent contestant to face the eighth-week elimination. Deepika's elimination was unexpected and viewers are upset with Colors Kannada decision. As per the unofficial Bigg Boss Kannada 9 voting results, Rupesh Rajanna was at the bottom. Anyway, Deepika gave her in this season too, and doubled her following.

However, as per the reports Colors Kannada channel and Bigg Boss Kannada makers paid around Rs 4 lakh per week. So the total remuneration of Deepika Das is around Rs 30 lakh for eight weeks.
