The examination date will be announced later on the UPSC website. The tests will be held in 78 cities around India. Each city centre, with the exception of Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata, and Nagpur, will have a limit on the number of candidates it can accept. The allotment of centers will be based on the "first-apply, first-allot" principle, and once a specific center's capacity is reached, it will be frozen.
