Tamil Nadu Board Releases 2026 Class 10, 12 Exam Timetables: Check Full Schedule and Timings
The Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has officially released the timetables for the SSLC (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) public examinations for the academic year 2025–26. Students can now view the complete subject-wise schedules, dates, and timings on the board’s official website — dge.tn.gov.in.
According to the notification, the SSLC (Class 10) examinations will be held from March 11 to April 6, 2026, across designated centres in Tamil Nadu. The board has urged students to use the detailed schedule for systematic exam preparation.
Tamil Nadu SSLC (Class 10) Timetable 2026:
March 11, 2026: Part I – Tamil / Other Languages
March 16, 2026: Part II – English
March 25, 2026: Part III – Mathematics
March 30, 2026: Part III – Science
April 2, 2026: Part III – Social Science
April 6, 2026: Part IV – Optional Language
Meanwhile, the Higher Secondary First Year (Class 11) arrear exams will be conducted from March 3 to March 27, 2026, with practical exams from February 16 to 21, 2026. Results for these exams are tentatively scheduled for May 20, 2026.
The Higher Secondary Second Year (+2) public exams will take place from March 2 to March 26, 2026. The detailed schedule covers all major subjects across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.

Exam Timings:
All SSLC and HSE examinations will be conducted from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm, with the following time allocation:
10:00–10:10 am: Reading the question paper
10:10–10:15 am: Verification of particulars
10:15 am–1:15 pm: Writing duration
Students are advised to arrive at their exam centres well in advance and adhere strictly to the exam-day guidelines issued by the board.
