Madanapalle Double Murder: Doctors Reveal New Twist To The Case

 - Sakshi Post

New results have come to light in the Madanapalle double murder case, though parents accused of killing their daughters remain under psychiatric examination and treatment at the government hospital for mental care in Vizag. A new twist has come and gone in this double murder case. Padmaja and Purushottam Naidu, who are currently undergoing treatment, revealed a shocking fact. Doctors also say that Padmaja did not kill her younger daughter Sai Divya, but only the elder daughter Alekhya killed her sibling. The father, V Purushotham Naidu, is said to have reconciled to the fact that his daughters will not come back and is in a depressed and suicidal state.

Hospital sources said the couple have been administered psychiatric medication and undergone psychometric analysis tests and abreaction procedure to help doctors arrive at an understanding of their psychological state.

In abreaction, which is a psychoanalytical process for reliving/reconstructing an experience to purge it of its emotional excesses, an agent that produces an anaesthetic effect is administered to the patients. In their subconscious state, the patients are made to relive the experience.

“While talking to the parents separately, it emerges from their versions that during the occult practice, the elder sister killed her sibling and sometime after that, the mother killed the elder sibling with superstitious beliefs of their being resurrected or coming back to life. The couple has been consistent about a single murder being committed by Padmaja and not twin murders,” a hospital source said.
