Kakinada: Coconut Vendor Attacks Motor Vehicle Inspector With Knife

Kakinada: A coconut vendor reportedly stabbed a transport department official when he asked him to show documents pertaining to his van parked on the road in the Kakinada district of Andhra Pradesh.

As per reports, the Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector identified as M. Chinna Rao was attacked with a knife by the accused, Venkata Durga Prasad at Z.P. Centre in Kakinada city on Friday when the official asked him to show the van documents which he was using to sell the coconuts. He chopped the finger of the inspector with a knife used for cutting coconuts and the officials were immediately rushed to a Government General hospital by the locals. He is said to be in critical condition and further details are awaited.
