YSRCP USA to Celebrate YSR's 74th Birth Anniversary in a Grand Manner

Washington DC: YSRCP USA is celebrating the 74th birth anniversary of a legendary leader and former chief minister Yeduguri Sandinti Rajasekhara Reddy, popularly known as YSR, in a grand manner in Virginia/Washington DC on July 8. The birth anniversary celebrations will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm on Saturday at 13869 Park Center Rd, Herndon, Virginia.

The party's social media chief, Sajjala Bhargav, who is currently visiting the United States, will be the chief guest at the event. The party's overseas convenors are enthusiastic about the birth anniversary of the people's leader. The convenors have appealed to the NRI families and Telugus to attend the programme in large numbers.

YSR’s visit to USA

YSR was a popular leader who had a special bond with the Telugu diaspora. He was the chief guest at the World Agriculture Congress which was held at St Louis (Missouri) in May 2007. During his stay in the US, YSR also called on California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to discuss ways to boost trade ties between Andhra Pradesh and California in various sectors. He also presented a memento to Schwarzenegger and told him that he had many fans in the Telugu state.

The event in Virginia/Washington DC will be an opportunity for the Telugu diaspora to pay tribute to YSR and his legacy. It will also be a chance for them to connect with the YSRCP and learn more about the party's plans for the future.
