What Does TPCC Strategist Sunil Kanugolu’s Report to AICC Contain?

Hyderabad: Upbeat over the success in the Karnataka Assembly elections, the Telangana Congress has now started preparing for Assembly polls in the state. The state Congress leaders seemed to be determined to bring the party back to power in Telangana in the upcoming state elections. 

TPCC strategist Sunil Kanugolu is learnt to have submitted a report to the office-bearers of All India Congress Committee (AICC). As per sources, the report from Congress poll strategist highlighted the party’s strength in Telangana and the remedial steps needed to revive the winning prospects of the party in the elections. It is said Sunil has given a detailed breakdown of Congress’s strong and weak constituencies in the Telugu state. 

The Congress poll strategist learnt to have included the lists of names of leaders from the ruling BRS and Telangana BJP who are reportedly unhappy with the leadership of their respective parties. The report further mentioned that among the disgruntled leaders who could contribute to the winning factor for Congress and who would likely join the party if they are given a ticket assurance in the polls. 

Sunil Kanugolu has reportedly chalked out a 150-days plan for the senior Congress leaders. The plan has details about what kind of programmes would serve the party needs and boost the party prospects in the region. In his report to the AICC, the poll strategist proposed a bus yatra with senior party leaders to send a message of unity among Congress leaders
