Tirumala: No VIP Break Darshan On October 5 Due To Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam  - Sakshi Post

TIRUMALA: In connection with the annual brahmotsavams of Tirumala temple which are commencing from October 7 onwards, the temple cleansing ritual- Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be observed on October 5.Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam will be held at the temple on October 5 in the backdrop of the annual Brahmotsavam of Srivari to be held from October 7 to 15. For this reason, it has been clarified that no letters of recommendation will be accepted for VIP break screenings on October 4th.

In view of this cleansing ritual which commences at 6 am and lasts till afternoon on October 5, Tirmula Tirupati Devashthanam (TTD) has canceled all VIP Break Darshan tickets. The devotees are requested to make note of this change and co-operate with TTD management, it mentioned in the release.

On Tuesday evening  TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy released a book titled Sri Kaligiri Mahatyam. The book was written by B Munuswamy and M Doraswami Naidu published the book. This event took place in Sri Padmavathi Guest House at Tirupati.

The book is about the significance of Sridevi Bhudevi Sameta Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy located in Kaligiri located between Penumuru and Puthalapattu mandals near Tirupati.

TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy last week expressed his ire at the social media campaign over the release of the quota of October special admission tickets issued by TTD in the Jio sub-domain.  He said that the Jio company was working with a sense of service and it was painful to politicize this aspect as well. Jio Cloud‌ technology enables devotees to book 2.39 lakh tickets in an hour and a half. YV Subba Reddy released a statement to the media stating the same on Friday.
