Nellore: 3 Killed, Including Toddler in Freak Accident

Nellore: In a tragic accident, three people were killed and five others sustained injuries when the Innova car in which they were travelling crashed into a parked lorry in Nellore’s Baddevolu village on Thursday. 

The incident occurred near cross-roads in Manubolu mandal. A 3-year-old boy was among those who were killed in this road mishap. The injured were rushed to Gudur hospital where they are undergoing treatment for the injuries. The condition of one injured person is stated to be critical. The deceased persons were identified as Rama Rao (40), Mercy (15) and S Teja (3). Their bodies were shifted to Government General Hospital for post-mortem. 

According to police, the deceased family was taking the child Teja to Chennai for treatment at a private hospital. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
