On-duty Security Guard Shoots Himself Dead Inside Ongole Bank 

Ongole: A security guard working at the Union Bank in Ongole district committed suicide while on duty on Monday. After hearing a loud gunshot from the guard room, the bank staff rushed there and found 35-year-old Venkateshwarlu lying in a pool of blood.

According to details, Venkateshwarlu shot himself in the head with his service revolver. The employees of the bank immediately alerted the police and the police team rushed to the spot and took details of the incident. 

The reason for Venkateshwarlu's suicide is not yet known. However, police said that he was married and had no children. Venkateshwarlu hailed from Cheemakurthy and was staying with his wife Uma Maheshwari at 8th Line in Ram Nagar of Ongole town. 

The police have registered a case and are investigating it.
