CM Jagan's Message On AP Formation Day

Commemorating Andhra Pradesh Formation Day today, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wished the people of the state. He also reminsced the sacrifice of Amarajeevi Shri Potti Sriramulu and several others. 

CM hoisted the National Flag besides paying floral tributes to the statue of Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu at the Camp Office in Amaravati on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister  received guard of honour from the police personnel on the occasion.

CM also released a book titled ‘Swatantrodyamamlo Andhrulu: Unsung Heroes’ authored by R. Mallikarjuna Rao, Director, Department of Language and Culture. Tourism Minister RK Roja, Women and Child Welfare Minister KV Ushasri Charan, Chief Secretary Dr K.S. Jawahar Reddy, DGP KV Rajendranath Reddy, Special Chief Secretary (Culture & Tourism) Dr. Rajat Bhargava, senior officials and people’s representatives participated in the programme.

Taking to micro-blogging site X (formerly Twitter), CM Jagan wrote, "A separate state was established for the Telugu community through the dedicated efforts of 'Amarajeevi' Shri Potti Sriramulu Garu and the collective struggle of countless individuals. Today, fueled by their inspiration, we are steadfast in our commitment to ensuring the well-being and progress of every family within our state. As the people of Andhra Pradesh, we are growing stronger and taking substantial strides towards enhancing our nation's development. We are actively contributing to the advancement of our country.

On this momentous occasion of Andhra Pradesh State Formation Day, I extend heartfelt wishes for a joyous State Inception Day to all our fellow citizens. Additionally, my heartfelt congratulations go out to those being honored with the YSR Achievement and YSR Lifetime Achievement Awards today."
