Fire In Car Parking Scares Tirumala

Tirumala: A major fire accident was averted at Tirumala before the main temple at a car parking lot early this morning. The fire sent panic waves across Tirumala, but swift action by the officials put the fire in control and dossed it off. It has been identified that the fire erupted due to a technical fault in the car's battery. Officials said that a short circuit in the car, which belongs to Vigilance DSP Ankaiah, was the reason behind the fire.

It is learnt that the DSP visited the temple to participate in the morning prayer. Soon after the fire erupted, fire personnel reached the spot and controlled the fire. No persons were injured in the mishap.
