I Could Have Been In Gully Boy: Kareena To Zoya Akhtar

Kareena Kapoor who is basking in the success of Veere Di Wedding was spotted at Ritesh Sidhwani's house party on Friday. She was seen along with the other Bollywood stars like Ranveer Singh and her besties Zoya Akhtar, Malaika and Amrita Arora. After her busy shooting schedule for Veere Di Wedding, the actress had a great time partying, singing and dancing at Sidhwani's birthday bash.

A video of Kareena enjoying at the party is now trending on social media which shows the actress singing Cutting Crew's 'I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight' song. Kareena ended singing the song saying "I could have been in Gully Boy." The video has been shared by the Gully Boy's director Zoya Akhtar. The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.

Kareena had missed many opportunities to star opposite to Ranveer. Earlier, the actress turned down an offer to work with Ranveer due to her personal issues which was helmed by Zoya. Zoya later chose Anushka Sharma for the role in Dil Dhadakne Do. Kareena who wanted to work with Zoya expressed her distress while partying and said that she likes to choose her priorities first over movies.

Currently, the actress is gearing up for her next untitled movie with Akshay Kumar which is being helmed by Karan Johar.
