Chandrababu Is Opportunistic Politician: Ram Madhav

BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav, participating in a programme commemorating completition of four years of NDA rule, criticised the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) party here today and said that TDP had conveniently forgotten their old friend BJP. He alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was a great example of opportunistic politics. Chandrababu was killing the political philosophy of TDP and its founder NTR by joining hands with Congress.

Ram Madhav questioned the double standards of Chandrababu and wondered what the intention of his Dharma Poratam was when he was involved in illegal activities. He said people would decide who was involved in what kind of activities.

The BJP leader said TDP had not spared even God from their politics and their casteist prism. It was only due to the alliance with BJP that TDP came to power in AP in 2014. "Kanna was much better than Chandrababu, who claimed to have political experience of 40 years." He promised to allocate 100 per cent funds for Polavaram and also fulfill all the promises that were made in AP Bifurcation Act. Referring to the CMs of both the Telugu states, Ram Madhav said while one was talking about third front, another was discussing about fourth front. "No front will be able to take on BJP and there was no opposition to Modi. Where is the Second Front,” he asked.

He said the primary goal of BJP cadre was to spread awareness about Chandrababu's misdeeds among the people of the state. Under the leadership of Kanna, the AP BJP would herald a new era. He observed that the BJP's aim was to make this country poverty-free by 2022.
