Girl Travels Miles To Meet Boyfriend She Met On Facebook, What Happened Next? 

Karnataka, Yeswanthpur: A Minor girl flew miles away in search of a friend she acquainted on Facebook. This is another example that shows the impact of Social media on youngsters. In the Silicon City, a grade 10 girl boarded an airplane in search of a friend whom she never met and added to that, the boy was also a minor. Finally, the child welfare authorities and the police brought the girl back to Bangalore.

As per the report, the girl is the daughter of a rich man in Bangalore and is studying tenth grade in a corporate school. She was active on social media and tech-savvy. She developed a friendship with a guy on Facebook from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. Both of them exchanged their mobile numbers and started talking to each other frequently, and fell in love. After learning about her love, the girl's parents warned her , asking her to stay away from him. The girl flew from Bangalore airport to Bhopal in the hope of meeting her boyfriend.

Meanwhile, the girl's parents filed a missing complaint with the local police and the Police started tracking the girl. They found that she went to Bhopal, and alerted the Bhopal Police who caught hold of both the Girl and her lover and counseled them. As per police reports, the girl admitted to have fled home to meet the guy after she quarreled with her father. She was even carrying money she earned from working at the call center for some days. Police brought back the girl to Bangalore on Tuesday night.
