MPP Held For Sexually Assaulting Woman

Karimnagar: A case was registered on Chigurumamidi MPP on Saturday for sexually assaulting a woman in Husnabad.

According to SI Mothilal, T. Kistaiah, president of MPP (Mandal Praja Parishad) of Chirgurumamidi mandal in Karimnagar molested a married woman, who is a native of Husnabad. After learning about the assault, the victim's husband lodged a complaint with the police against Kistaiah.

Kistaiah who was jailed in the past in a gambling case was taken into police custody. Tension prevailed among the TRS leaders after the arrest of the MPP.
