Minor girl sexually assaulted by two in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, A minor girl was sexual assaulted by two minor boys at Vanastalipuram in Hyderabad.

According to Police Inspector Gopala Krishnamurthy, the incident took place on December 21 last year, but the complaint was registered on Tuesday. The victim was doing intermediate in a private college in Malakpet. One day, on her way to college, the girl was being stalked by two boys, who forced her to get down at Manneguda Chowrasta in Hayatnagar, and threatened her to throw acid at her if she didn't comply.

Scared, she got down, and the duo 17-year-old Sai and his 18-year-old friend, Manikiran took her on their bike to a vacant plot. 

On the way, they gave her sedative and  brutally raped her, when she was unconscious. Interestingly, they also encountered police on their way, and when the police questioned them they said they were friends of Srinivas, an owner of a mobile shop in Bengaluru. On hearing this, the police let them go. 

The girl had to wait for close to a month to register her a complaint, because her mother was admitted in NIMS hospital for a treatment when the incident took. Her father Bikshapathi logded a complaint with the police, after learning about the incident.

Police registered a complaint and she was sent to hospital for tests. The accused were booked under Nirabhaya Act and Protection of Children Act, police said.
