Marri Shashidhar Reddy demands postponement of GHMC elections

Hyderabad: Congress senior leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy on Tuesday demanded the postponement of GHMC elections until the outcome of census of backward classes and the matter of deleted votes of 1.5 lakh in GHMC limits is resolved.
The Congress stalwart alleged that nearly 6.5 lakh of votes had already been deleted and also 8 lakh more votes are being deleted in the name of bogus.
Reddy issued a statement that his party was going to meet Election Commission of India once again on Thursday to discuss on the matter of deletion of votes in GHMC.
