Man Murders Father of Third Wife

In a shocking incident, a person killed his father in law, who tried to mediate in the dispute with his third wife. The incident occurred in Elikatta village of Farookhnagar mandal in Mahboobnagar district.

Ramulu of Elikatta has married three times. His first wife Parvathamma was set ablaze. Later, he married another woman identified as Swapna. However, Swapna and her father P Adivaiah were done to death after Ramulu suspected her fidelity. Ramulu was jailed after the incident.

After serving the prison term, Ramulu married Manjula of Kishannagar. He registered his land measuring 20 guntas in the name of Manjula to marry her. However, few weeks ago, he sold the land that he had registered in the name of Manjula. Ever since, Manjula and Ramulu were bitterly quarelling over the issue. On Monday, Manjula's relatives had a heated argument with him on the issue.

Angry over this, Ramulu took Manjula's father Pochayya (55) with him to the outskirts of the village and bludgeoned him to death. Pochaiah's body was recovered from the village outskirts and the police were immediately alerted.

A case has been registered and search is on for Ramulu, who is at large.
