Bihar Man Chopped Into Pieces, Stuffed In Gunny Bag In His House

Hyderabad: A man's body which was hacked into pieces and stuffed in a gunny bag was found in a house in Chandranagar, Jeedimetla on Wednesday night.

The incident came to light after the house owner noticed a foul smell from his tenant’s room on the first floor of the building. The door was locked from outside. He immediately informed the police.

As per preliminary investigation, police suspected that the body is of the tenant, whose identity is being verified. “He was killed nearly a week ago. The body was chopped into pieces and stuffed in a gunny bag,” a police officer said. "However, only the head and abdomen portion of the body was found. The hands and legs were missing", he added.

The victim is suspected to be one of the roommates Vivek Vidhur Jha, Bhanu Jha. The other is absconding, Police said.

Police sent the body to the Osmania General Hospital for postmortem and are probing into the case.
