Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy gets threatening calls

An unknown person, claimed himself a maoist, made threatening calls to Telugu Desam Party MP from Malkajgiri Ch.Malla Reddy.

He threatened to blast all Malla Reddy Group of Colleges in Hyderabad if he did not give an amount of Rs.30 crores to him.

With this, the MP gave a complaint to Bowenpally police in the city. Police started their investigations based on the phone calls.

The MP got the calls from the coin boxes in Basheerabad, Dindigul, Jeedimetla and Medchal areas.

Malla Reddy won from Malkajgiri Parliamentary constituency on behalf of TDP in the recent elections. He has been getting the calls from the day the election results were announced.

The unknown person is making the calls every evening to the MP and threatening him. He is using only coin boxes for calling the MP.

Police registered a case under Section 506 of IPC.

Malla Reddy is running several engineering colleges in Quthbullapur constituency in Hyderabad.
