Lessen Your GST Worries By Calling Up On These Helpline Numbers

New Delhi: The Goods and Services Tax (GST) came into effect at the stroke of the midnight on Friday at a colourful programme held in Central Hall of Parliament. However, there appear to be quite a few ticklish issues and gray areas in the GST. To allay the fears of the businessmen, helpline numbers have been launched. The Central Board of Excise and Customs has set up these helpline numbers to help people make a seamless entry into the GST regime.

To support taxpayers and tax officials, GSTN or GST Network has collaborated with Infosys and Tech Mahindra and set up two dedicated call centres. One helpline - 0120-4888999 - is for taxpayers while another - 0124-4479900 - provides support to tax officials.
