As per the reports, Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao became serious on the decision of the Council of Higher Education to start the verification of certificates from August 7 as part of the EAMCET counseling process.

He asked the officials how they could take the decision on the same when the case is still in pending in the Supreme Court.

Telangana Minister for Education Jagadeesh Reddy met the chief minister on Monday and briefed him about the latest position on the issue.

Before that, the minister met the officials in the education department.

It is reported that the minister expressed his dissatisfaction over the authority being exhibited by the Andhra Pradesh government on the same. He reportedly said that they knew how to do justice to Telangana students.

Telangana government reportedly came to a conclusion of not implementing the decision of EAMCET admissions committee in its state. As per the reports, the minister said that verification of certificates would not take place in Telangana.

In the meeting, the minister became furious over the officials for taking the decision without the presence of officials of Telangana that too when the Supreme Court is going to take up the case on August 4.

It is reported that Jagadeesh Reddy told the officials that they would implement the decision of Supreme Court on the admissions.
