Pithapuram Rural: The ex-minister and Kapu agitation leader Mudragada Padmanabham on Tuesday stated that they would soon renew the stir to ensure the implementation of assurances given by the government.He was in Pithapuram of East Godavari district, visiting those hurt in the Tuni ‘Kapu Garjana’. Addressing the media he expressed concerns about the implementation of assurances given to them by the government.

He alleged that loans were being denied to the Kapus and added that only TDP leaders were being extended loans in the name of JanmaBhoomi committees and injustice was being done to the poor. He said that those who had participated in the Tuni agitation were being denied loans saying they had lost their eligibility and questioned this attitude.

Mudragada also expressed concern about the government not releasing the promised Rs. 500 crore for this year. He criticised that out of 3.5 lakh loan applicants from 13 districts, only thirty thousand applications were selected. President of the district Kapu Sadbhavana Sangam Vasiredy Yesudas, YSRCP state secretary G.V Ramana and others were present with him.
