Hyd: New Speed Guns To Generate Instant E-Challan Now

HYDERABAD: Following the analysis reports, which revealed that more than 20 persons were killed due to over speeding on roads, the city traffic police, launched six new high-end speed guns here.

According to police, these six new guns are added to the already existing five speed guns which were in use to control the over speeding vehicles. The new feature in these new guns is that, they are also capable of generating an e-challan on the spot.

Speaking to a daily about the use of these speed guns, additional traffic commissioner Anil Kumar said that they would be using the speed guns in black spots or places that have wide roads to keep a check on the people who are over speeding.
