Hoax bomb scare in Osmania Hospital

Hyderabad: An phone call threatening that a bomb would go off in Osmania Hospital led to panic on Tuesday.

Unidentified miscreants called up Osmania Hopistal authorities on late Tuesday claiming that a bomb would go off in the hospital.  Anxiety gripped patients, doctors and the staff members and they ran out in fear. Afzal Gunj police, sniffer dogs and bomb disposal squads were pressed into service immediately and a thorough search was launched.

Later, it turned out that it was a hoax call.  The caller is yet to be traced and a probe is on.
