Girl Commits Suicide in College Hostel

Ongole: A first year engineering student of Pace Institute of Technology and Sciences committed suicide by hanging, here on Tuesday.

The deceased identified as K Nagalakshmi was pursuing civil engineering course at the Institute. According to sources, Nagalakshmi went out of the hostel on Monday evening with her boyfriend on a bike. They were stopped by the police and questioned following which she might have committed suicide in the hostel room on Monday night, they opined.

Nagalakshmi was a native of Tallamalla village in Podili mandal. Further details are awaited.
