GHMC Offers Rs50000 Reward For Early Tax Payers

Hyderabad: Here comes good news for tax payers. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) will reward with cash prize who would clear property tax dues by July 31. GHMC Commissioner Dr B. Janardhan Reddy said that it would conduct a lucky draw on August 1 every year and the bumper prize winner will be rewarded with Rs50,000. The first prize winner will be given Rs25,000 while Rs12,500 each will be given to two persons for coming second.

Rs5,000 will be given to five persons who come third, while Rs 2,500 each will be given 10 persons who fall in fourth. The civic body will give Rs1,000 as a consolation prize to 75 tax payers.
