Fire At Vijayawada Lenin Centre

Vijayawada: A major fire broke out at Vijaywada Lenin Centre in the early hours of Tuesday. Three shops that were on the footpath were gutted in the blaze.

Three fire engines were pressed into service to put out the massive blaze, it is learned.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot and made all efforts to douse the flames. Short circuit is being suspected to be the cause of fire. The flames is said to have originated from a cloth shop at Lenin Centre around midnight.

The massive fire has reportedly caused a lot of damage to property.
