Farmers Attack Police In Nalgonda, Inspector Critically Injured 

Nalgonda: Farmers of Marrigudem attacked the police picket at Charlagudem reservoir in Nalgonda district on Monday.

Circle Inspector Balagangireddy sustained critical injury on his head when the farmers attacked the police party on duty at the reservoir. The inspector was shifted to a hospital and security was beefed up at the reservoir. The picket was posted at the reservoir to keep a watch on the use of water by the farmers.

Tension prevailed at the reservoir following a clash between the farmers and the police.
