Samantha, The Actress With The Midas Touch
Samantha Ruth Prabhu aka Samantha Akkineni seems to have turned into an actress with a midas touch. How else would you explain her winning streak? She has seen success of her movies back to back. Not just that, each one of her film is a bigger blockbuster than the other. Samantha is certainly on cloud nine.
Her movies 99, Mahanati, U-turn, Irumbu Thirai released last year were super duper hits. This year too, she started off her career on a winning note with Majili tasting box office success. Her joy doubled as it was for the first time that she was sharing screen space with hubby Naga Chaitanya post marriage. Their chemistry was much talked about.
Samantha Akkineni will be next seen in Oh Baby which also features Julie Lakshmi. The film is slated for release in theatres on July 5. The makers unleashed the trailer of the movie this morning and the trailer has received immense praise. Even senior filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao and Samantha's husband Chaitanya are among others who have heaped praises on her.
