Bharat First Day Box Office Collections: How Much Did Salman’s Eid Release Fetch On Day 1?

Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat' took to a flying start at the box office. It is customary of Salman Khan to offer new film on the occasion of Eid as a treat to his fans every year. His last two films-'Tubelight' and 'Race 3' which were released around Eid turned out to biggest disasters at the box office.
The film has opened in theatres to rave reviews from all corners. Salman Khan has arranged 'Bharat' special screening for Bollywood stars. Salman Khan has been flooded with congratulatory messages from his peers and well-wishers.
Going by the buzz on Twitter, 'Bharat' is a seat edge thriller movie which has all the blend - drama, action, emotion and comedy. It has struck a chord among the audiences and his fans are rushing in crowds towards the theatres to watch the film.
The positive word of mouth about 'Bharat' would boost the collections of the movie in the coming days. Released in 4700 screens across India, Bharat has managed to get a bumper opening. 'Bharat' is a remake of the 2014 South Korean movie, Ode To My Father.
If trade sources are to be believed, 'Bharat' has managed to earn Rs 34 Crores on the opening day at the box office. Looking at the current trend, the film is expected to smash every possible record at the ticket window.

'Bharat' has been directed by Alia Abbas Zafar and it is the duo's third collaboration after 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. Salman and Katrina are one of the hit pairs in B-town and audiences are enjoying their on-screen crackling chemistry. Actually, Katrina's role was first offered to Priyanka but she opted out due to her wedding with Nick Jonas.
