Tamil actor Ajith's 'Viswasam' released during Pongal weekend alongside Rajinikanth starred 'Petta'. As expected Ajith and makers have earned a good profit by releasing during holidays. 'Viswasam' has become biggest blockbuster in Ajith's career and created new records at the Tamil Nadu box office. 'Viswasam' did unexpectedly good business by dethroning Rajinikanth's 'Petta' in international markets and domestic box office. 'Viswasam' is currently in its sixth week and ringing at the box office. 'Viswasam' turned out to be a huge money spinner for filmmakers in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. They failed to create or break any records in Telugu. Don't worry, guys, the makers are planning to dub 'Viswasam' in Telugu.

His current slate could be on March-1, if you are keen on watching the movie or in case you are an Ajith fan. We have some more interesting news for you. One of the top online streaming app Amazon Prime has bagged the rights of 'Viswasam'. If sources are to be believed, Ajith's 'Viswasam' would be streaming in Amazon Prime Video in the last week of February. The exact release date of 'Viswasam' on Amazon Prime is yet to be made confirmed by the makers.

Viswasam, directed by Siva, marked the fourth collaboration of Thala Ajith and the director. The movie also features Nayanthara, Anikha, Jagapathi Babu, Robo Sankar etc., in prominent roles.
