Uri Hits A Century, Collects 100 Crores

Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike is based the real-life incidents, which led to the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army in Pakistan following the 2016 terror attacks in Uri base camp.

Uri has now become the first movie to enter into the 100 crore club in the year 2019. This Vicky Kaushal new outing is having a great run at the box office. The Aditya Dhar-directed film has minted Rs. 13.24 crore on second Saturday.


Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and said, Uri, has entered the 100 crore club. He added that the mid-sized movies are doing great at the box office, quoting the movies which rocked the box office last year. Taran named Badhai ho, Stree, Raazi, Sonu Ki Titu ki Sweety all which made into the 100 crore club.

Taran added that content is the king and the audiences are the Kingmakers. Uri: The Surgical Strike opened to mixed reviews at the box office.

This movies cast includes Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, Mohit Raina, Paresh Rawal, Swarup Sampat. Uri is directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. Uri and Anupam Kher's The Accidental Prime Minister were released on the same day and Uri emerged out the winner at the box office.
