NOTA USA Premier Show Collections

Vijay Devarakonda's latest movie NOTA's USA collections did not reach the expectations of the makers. Within just two months from the release of Vijay's blochbuster film Geetha Govindam, NOTA released today across the world amid huge expectations.  The Arjun Reddy star is currently enjoying a spree of blockbuster hits with the success of Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam in successive years.

The collection numbers of NOTA are already out just 24 hours into its release. On the back of Geetha Govindam's massive success at the Box office, fans of Vijay Deverakonda have ordered for premiere shows in huge number before the release. It is believed that over 220 premier screens were organised making it the highest in Vijay's career. However, it is the collections which have disappointed Vijay's fans.

NOTA's Telugu and Tamil versions collected a combined Rs 1.32 crore in USA premier shows while Geetha Govindam collected a massive Rs 2.82 crore collections. The fact that NOTA collected only half as much as Geetha Govindam speaks it all, according to analysts who say that the Tamil language influence on the promos and the songs made it a dull movie. The poor response for the movie is attributed to the political thriller story, it is said.

While the Tamil version of NOTA received positive response, Telugu NOTA received a below average review. Nevertheless, it has to be seen what impact Vijay's image would does after the first week collections.
