Kaushal earned for himself a reputation for not standing by his words during important tasks. During the pirates and survivors task, Kaushal was heard asking Nandini to flip the plank so that Deepthi Nallamothu falls down. This flipping act also drew host Nani's disapproval and Kaushal admitted to having done it.

The Apple Task Controversy

The Apple task was the threshold point for many disputes betwen the Housemates during the course of the second season of Bigg Boss Telugu. While the task was on, Kaushal tried to grab the apples from Nandini, Geetha Madhuri and Bhanu. In the heat of the moment, Bhanu started claiming that Kaushal inappropriately touched her chest, leading to a strong reaction from rest of the contestants against Kaushal, who looked stunned with her allegation. Although the controversy stretched for some time, Kaushal Army stood behind him and voted for him, keeping him in the reckoning week after week.

Kiriti Vs Kaushal

Saying that Kaushal was misbehaving with women in the House and was touching them inappropriately, Kiriti threw lemon juice at Kaushal in protest. After Babu Gogineni restrained Kiriti from doing harm to other contestants, the fight over it subsided.

Deepthi Sunaina Vs Kaushal

In another allegation of misbehaviour against Kaushal, Deepthi Sunaina claimed that Kaushal was not right in mishandling her during the task. During a task, Kaushal was seen carrying Deepthi Sunaina in his arms. This led to an argument between the two and as always, Kaushal had the support of his army of fans.

Kaushal's Permanent Nomination By Geetha

With the victory of Geetha Madhuri in the 3-day murder mystery secret task, Geetha Madhuri was given a choice to nominate any contestant for the entire season. Quite expectedly, she chose Kaushal, who was highly disappointed with the decision.
