NTR Family And The Nalgonda Jinx
There seems to be a sinister connection between NTR family and Nalgonda district. How else would you explain the fact that all the tragedies in the family have taken place in the same district? What is this Nalgonda jinx which seems to haunt the Nandamuri family.
It was way back in the year 2009 of March that Jr NTR met with an accident near Suryapet. He was on his way back from a political campaign for TDP. Thankfully, NTR escaped with minor injuries. But the accident left the family deeply shaken.
However, the tragic sequence had only begun. Five years later, in December 2014, the late NTR's grandson and actor Harikrishna's son Janaki Ram died in a road mishap at Akupamula village. Incidentally, Harikrishna died in a road accident close to the same place.
Actor-politician Harikrishna started off from his Banjara hills residence at 4.30 am this morning and headed to Kavali in Nellore district to attend the marriage of his fan. It is learnt that the overspeeding SUV Toyota Fortuner hit a median. The vehicle overturned and Harikrishna lost control of the wheel. The vehicle is reported to have flipped over several times after hitting the divider at high speed.

Harikrishna was to attend AP tourism minister Bhuma Akhila Priya's wedding at Allagadda in Kurnool after his fan's wedding. However, fate decreed something else and tragically, he could not go past Nalgonda.
Nalgonda seems to be unlucky for the NTR clan. Shocked fans are saying this isn't something to be ignored and the surviving NTR family must be extra cautious in future.

Harkrishna is known for his mindblowing performance in the Telugu films Laahiri Laahiri Laahirilo and Seethayya which went on to become blockbuster hits.
In May 2008, the senior TDP leader was elected to Rajya Sabha. He backed Chandrababu Naidu's coup against NTR. He was the president of Telugu Yuvatha.
He was given minister of road transport portfolio after he won the Hindupur seat in the 1996 Assembly polls. However, Harikrishna parted ways with TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu over corruption. He had also accused the AP Chief Minister of watering down the ideals upon which his father NTR had built the Telugu Desam party. He then floated his own party called Anna Telugu Desam Party which went extinct after Harikrishna failed to win a single seat in 1999 elections. Eventually, he buried the hatched and joined hands with Chandrababu again in 2006 to join TDP.
Condolences have been pouring in on Twitter while fans, well wishers, AP politicians and family friends are waiting at NTR's residence to pay their last respects to the departed soul.
