Manifesto is the soul of any political party. It's sacrosanct and parties strain their nerves to ensure that the promises are fulfiled.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had released two separate manifestos for AP and Telangana. He reeled off promises after promises from the manifesto all through the election period. But, finding that most promises are unimplementable and due to the pressure from the people, who want them implemented, the TDP has quietly taken off the manifesto from its website.
Accusing Chandrababu of deceiving people with false promises, PCC chief N Raghuveera Reddy said TDP had removed its election manifesto from its website. He wanted the government to upload the manifesto again and take steps to implement the assurances.
