DS meets Prez, discusses Telangana

Former PCC president and Congress senior leader from the Telangana region D Srinivas met President Pranab Mukherjee in Hyderabad on Monday, and had an informal discussion with him for more than 30 minutes.

According to reports, the duo discussed Telangana and other political developments of the state. 
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Srinivas said that the President empathised with the sentiments of Telangana people
He added that Seemandhra people were free to demand anything but they should not infringe on the rights of Telangana people. Stating that Telangana MLAs are all ready to participate in the discussions on Telangana, DS asked the Seemandhra MLAs to do the same. 
He pointed out that 2014 Assembly elections will be conducted in both Telangana and Seemandhra.
