Digvijaya Singh, Sonia discuss Telangana in Delhi

State Congress affairs in-charge, Digvijaya Singh met Congress president Sonia Gandhi at her residence in New Delhi on Saturday.

Sources say, their discussion centered around political developments in Andhra Pradesh.

It is a known fact that Digvijaya Singh in his recent visit to Hyderabad made key statements on the Telangana issue. He had asked Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC chief Botsa  Satyanaryana furnish a roadmap to figure out a decision on the Telangana issue.

After his visit, several Seemandhra and Telangana leaders have been visiting Delhi to tell him about their stand on the issue. Thus, Digvijaya's meeting with Sonia Gandhi gains significance.
