Dasari Narayana Rao Discharged From KIMS Hospital

Veteran film director and former central minister Dasari Narayana Rao has been discharged from the KIMS Hospital in Secunderabad on Tuesday.

Dasari was admitted to KIMs on January 29 on pulmonary ailments and kidney related issues. He underwent treatment for lung infection in intensive care unit at the hospital. Kims hospital stated that Dasari was given dialysis and he is responding to treatment. He was supported by ventilator for breathing and a surgery was done in his chest to control infection. tracheotomy surgical procedure has been done to help Dasari breath better

Several dignitaries, including YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called on him at the hospital and made enquiries about his health.

The National Award winning filmmaker holds a record of directing over 125 films and producing 50 others. Some of his best films include "Premabhishekam", "Meghasandesham", "Osey Ramulamma" and "Tata Manavadu". He had recently announced his plans to make a biopic on late actress and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
