Cyient Focusing on Defence Technologies; To Set Up Center in Poland

Hyderabad: With an aim of achieving 15 percent growth rate, Cyient is focusing on defence technologies using Design-Build-Maintain strategy. Cyient has made shutters for the just-launched satellite by Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

Cyient has also contributed 22 percent of the new generation jet engines of Pratt & Whitney and made radars for the armed forces and modern signaling and communication for London Metro lines. Cyient is also diversifying into medical technology by offering Cyient 3.0 version for cardiac monitoring and diagnostics.

Began as an IT company 25 years ago in Hyderabad, Cyient has transformed into a multifaceted company engaged in engineering, manufacturing, networked and analytics solutions. The company is celebrating Silver Jubilee this year.

Cyient founder and Executive Chairman BVR Mohan Reddy has launched a 3.0 strategy aimed at transforming the company focusing on Design-Build-Maintain strategy. From a humble beginning with three employees, the company has emerged as a major firm with headcount running over 13,000.

As part of overseas expansion strategy, Cyient has recently incorporated a subsidiary in Israel.
