Dead Body Of Missing Kakinada Girl Found In Canal

KAKINADA: The dead body of the six-year-old girl who was abducted by her stepmother in Kakinada town has been traced. Police found the girl's body in the local Upputeru (salt canal) on Monday.

Surada Deepthi Sri Ishani was abducted from her school in Kakinada town of East Godavari district by her stepmother three days ago on Friday. The girl's father had launched a missing person complaint.

According to the reports, police launched a massive search in the local Upputeru (canal).

After her stepmother confessed to killing her and later dumping the body in the water, police started investigating.
