Nellore School Bus Accident: Students Hurt In Mishap

Nellore: Several students belonging to Sri Chaitanya School were hurt today when the school bus they were travelling in overturned near a culvert at Kammapalli in Dakkali mandal in Nellore district, on Friday morning.

The bus driver lost control of the bus as he was trying to manoeuvre the culvert, following which the bus overturned and fell to the side of the road.

Several children were injured in the accident and most of them belonged to the primary section. The children were immediately taken to hospital by onlookers and there were no casualties reported. Onlookers say that the driver was in an inebriated condition and while driving the bus.
